We know that trying something new can be a little intimidating. But we’re here to help you with some of the terms so you’ll be confident about living it up with a fresh new taste!

GINGER, SOY
SAUCE & WASABI

These are traditional sushi sides. The wasabi brings a bit of spiciness, but don’t worry, the burn doesn’t last long at all! Dip your sushi pieces in the soy sauce to add a deliciously salty twist.

Top Tip text. Use the pink pieces of ginger as a palate cleanser between pieces of sushi so that you can taste all the fresh flavours better.

CHOPSTICKS

Chopsticks are the traditional way to eat sushi, but if you want to use a fork or your fingers, that’s cool too! It’s your choice.

FASHION SANDWICHES

Your choice of salmon, prawn, or avocado between 2 layers of sushi rice and very thin Japanese seaweed, with toasted sesame seeds on the outside.

MAKI

Your choice of salmon, prawn, or avocado wrapped in sticky sushi rice and very thin Japanese seaweed.

SALMON ROSES

Fresh salmon and avocado wrapped around sticky sushi rice and topped with Japanese mayo and caviar.

PRAWN TEMPURA

Prawns dipped in crunchy tempura batter and deep fried until golden.
